2024 NATIONAL SILVER FOX RABBIT CLUB ELECTIONS

Jesse Gross

Members of the NSFRC, my name is Jesse Gross and I am proud to announce that I am running for a director’s position. Before I continue, I want to thank all of those who reached out to me asking if I was running again this year. It means a lot getting that kind of support.

Let me start by telling you all about me and my background. I'm 38 years old, married with 2 kids and live in western Wisconsin. We started raising and showing rabbits about 5 years ago and have had silver fox almost from the start.

Since being an NSFRC member I have served on several committees, my wife and I along with our host club Rabbit &Cavy Breeders Anonymous Club hosted the NSFRC spring nationals in May of 2022, and we served on the show committee for the 100th ARBA convention.

I feel that the NSFRC is doing great things for the breed and the members are second to none. That being said I want to push for continued improvement of the breed. The chocolate variety being added was amazing for the breed, but getting blues back would skyrocket the breed as then it would be a club vote for lilacs to be accepted. Great things to strive for as a club. I also would try to get more things going for our youth as they are the future of the hobby and anything within reason to keep them interested is a win.

All in all, I feel like I can bring great things the NSFRC and would love the opportunity to serve the foxy family.
